We are all eager for in person visits with our Master Gardener colleagues; however, this year, due to the pandemic, we will have a virtual Mini-College.

We have discovered a very positive side to holding a virtual Mini-College.  Normally, you can only take one class in each group of concurrent sessions.  The hidden benefit is that the classes and workshops will be recorded so it will be possible for you to view all of them.

A few days after the close of the conference, all registered participants may watch any of the classes at a time convenient for you.

Each day following the keynote speakers, there will be 5 concurrent classes and 2 workshops from which you can select.  Please select your first and second choice for the class or workshop you wish to take.  Note, the workshops are limited to 20 people each.

You will find the description of each class and workshop and a short bio for the presenters under the Program tab.

Each workshop will have a pre-assignment that you will need to complete prior to attending Mini-College.   This could include advanced reading, creating a small landscape design, collecting plants or insects, etc.  The workshop time at Mini-College will be spent discussing and critiquing the assignments to further everyone’s knowledge of the topic.

The cost of the 2021 Mini-College is only $49 for both days!  (Consider the savings –   no travel, no meals, no housing costs, etc.)

You will find the Mini-College schedule under the Program tab.
